2007 Honda F1 Team's new racing colors

The Honda Racing F1 Team in London announced a new environment-friendly initiative for the 2007 Formula 1 season. Instead of the usual sponsor logos that have dominated the colors of the racing season for years, this time around, the Honda F1 car will feature a huge image of the earth, to help raise awareness about the environmental issues facing the planet.

Honda has quite a heritage in pioneering environmental-friendly activity, and strives to be innovative in its technology. The 2007 Honda Civic Hybrid is recognized by the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) as one of the cleanest internal combustion vehicles available.

People who are keen to have their names featured on the F1 car, are required to visit the website www.myearthdream.com; pledge to make a lifestyle change and make a donation to an environmental charity. Each name will form a tiny pixel under the concept "our car is your car", and all the pixels together will make up the image of the earth on the car. Every single name will be visible on the website after the pledge is made, or under a microscope on the car. The car's new earthy look is a call to action for Honda customers, fans, sponsors and members of the public to endorse a commitment towards common environmental issues.
