Honda El Cerrito introduces the All-new 2008 Honda Accord

The All-new 2008 Honda Accord is one of the most significant models in Honda's lineup for the 2008 model year. The auto major’s best-selling model will appeal to family-sedan buyers and Honda fans, who will also appreciate the sporty driving feel that the car is known for. The new Accord gets a total makeover and now features fresh styling, more safety features, and powerful engines that leverage fuel-saving technology.

The new 2008 Honda Accord is available as a Sedan and Coupe. The 2008 Honda Accord Sedan gets a choice of three engines: a 2.4-liter i-VTEC 4-cylinder with 177 hp in LX models, a 2.4-liter 190-hp in the EX version, and a new 3.5-liter 268-hp V-6 engine. Variable Cylinder Management offers brisk acceleration and fuel efficiency. The choice of transmission is a 5-speed automatic or a 5-speed manual.

The 2008 Honda Accord Coupe offers three engines: a 2.4-liter i-VTEC 4-cylinder that makes 190 hp and two versions of a new 268-hp 3.5-liter V-6, iVTEC (automatic models). The V-6 models equipped with the 5-speed automatic, the V-6 features i-VTEC and Variable Cylinder Management. Transmission choices include a 5-speed manual transmission or an available 5-speed automatic. The 2008 Honda Accord EX-L V-6 Coupe gets a standard 5-speed automatic or a 6-speed manual.
